The Brief

The project "script to screen - episodic drama" is build of three units. 

1. Information and Interpretation in Art, Design & Media
2. Combined Experimental Studies in Art, Design & Media
3. Media Development in Art, Design & Media

Approached by Lilie Ferrari who is working with Eye TV we were asked to produce 5x5 episodic drama about bereavement that will engage all viewers, especially those aged 16 to 24. It must contain topics based around gender, ethnicity and sexual orientation with "sharp, up-to-the-minute dialogue and characterization with innovative filming techniques and effects". It is going to be shown online everyday as well as promoted online through marketing and social media campaigning. 


We are going to be in one of two teams which are script writing team and crowdfunding/marketing team.
To be chosen to whichever of those two, we will have to write a pitch, explaining why we want to be in this team, what we can offer and why we should be chosen to do it. It must be ready by 11th January 2018. 

Later on we will be deciding on which role we will be involved in and those are: 

Script writing:
  • research & development
  • character development / story lining / producing a story beat sheets / scenes breakdown 
  • final scripts with dialogue / shooting scripts 
Crow funding/marketing 
  • research, development, pitch, shoot &edit of crowd funding film
  • marketing / managing crowdfunding campaign
  • press and publicity 
 There are other three roles: 
  • production - production manager / production coordinator
  • creative - director / light & camera / sound design / operator / editor / graphics
  • marketing - manage the online campaign and all press, and publicity
There will be also 
  • creative director
  • creative producer 
They will have to:   
  • communications with the client and partners
  • overall aesthetic & quality control of all products
  • ensuring productivity in the team & producing the work on time
