Press release


When the crowdfunding team went off to record the campaign, the script writing team was asked to write a press release for the Script to Screen Drama.

We we put into groups ( 2 people in each group) and we wrote our versions of the press release. Those were checked by our tutor and my friend and I were chosen to write the final press release.

We spoke to Richard Steer, who introduced us to the conventions of a press release. He told us what was good about each press release that has been written by different group, what the final press release should include and how we should structure it. We were also given an example of another press release that Richard wrote with his colleagues to guide us.
