The meeting with directors
I have met with two of our directors to discuss their vision of how they want to present the drama in terms of framing and composition.
They told me about a couple of styles they would like to go for such as:
1. quite dark
2. blue tint
3. may get warmer towards the end
4. shallow depth of field
5. shots from behind the circle
6. shots of the whole room
7. blurriness
I have also introduced them to a short film "Blue Notes" written and directed by Tim Swaby.

We have looked at the scenes with the cigarette and how the focus changed from the cigarette to the actress.
We said that we want the scene to be filmed in close up to avoid showing the college. The directors want a bit of blurriness here and to catch some of the ghosts' facial expressions.
From the meeting I know that I should go for quite cold tone, negative space, lots of closeups and shallow depth of field.
I may also do a studio photo shoot.
I had an idea of taking a photo using a tripod on the location. I would take a photo of the set, then the photo of Joel, Melinda, Rosemary, Harvey and Jess and then third photo of the Ghosts.
The first two shots would be done normally, but the one with ghosts will be taken with very high ISO to make them blurry and bright. I have taken a couple of photos like that before:
