Read throught the script with the actors

We had meet three of our actors. Rosemary - Agnes C. Lilis Melinda - Mercy Philips Harvey - Mark Finbow We inrtroduced ourselves and our roles on the set and then we moved on onto reading the script.  We of course devided rols between our actors and some of our team members. As we went on, at the end of each episode, we discussed it and suggested possible changes. Our actors were also very helpful with their opinions, suggestions and remarks/observations.  For ll of the episodes, our actors mostly decided on getting rid of a dialogue or a whole scene, telling us that it is pointelss or that a particular dialogue could be replaced by a facial expression or body language. At the end we discussed the possible ending for the drama (episode 5).  We had two possibilities.  1. we could leave the ghost in the room, ater Joel leaves it 2. we could pan the camera behind Joel. Before he'd cover the view, ghosts would still be there, but after the camera moved ow...

Costume mood boards and the budget breakdown (plus actors sizing)

Image
My friend's mood-boards We decided to split the characters between us to save some time. The sizing Mercy Phillips - Melinda (she also send photos of her clothes) Agnes C. Lillis - Rosemary  Paul Goldsmith - Joel  Mark Finbow - Harvey  Charlotte Mcguinness - Jess    " I’ve got a sporty bomber jacket which is burgundy with blue flowers, skinny jeans and a I do have a pair of pink and yellow trainers with me. I also have a white t shirt with a Nike tick on it." It means:  We do not need to get clothes for Jess, Melinda and Rosemary.  We also do not need to get clothes for Grandad, Uncle and Harold.

Script breakdown

Image
We looked at the edited scripts from Lily after we suggested some of the changes. Ep1.  ep2.   ep3.   ep4.  ep5.   Using the scripts, we made a list of how long each scene is by the page lenght. We have also decided to change the number of episode into letters. episode 1= A episode 2= B episode 3= C episode 4= D episode 5= E We added number of scene to the letter of an episode and we ended up with: A1, A2, A3 etc. B1, B2, B3 etc. C1, C2, C3 etc. D1, D2, D3 etc. E1, E2, E3 etc. We have also decided each episode per location. Later on we wrote the scene break down, using a template given to us by our tutor. Before we started we were told to use numbers instead of names of the characters as apparently that was gonna t be easier for us. I wrote the scene break down to ep...
